Last year we started a drawing club between 5 of us and although there was a period of lull where we stopped drawing, the last few months have been very strong with gatherings happening practically every week. This is my favourite time of the week. It’s a time pre-decided and set in stone for me to forget about work, forget about everything and just enjoy a coffee with my artist friends. With work intruding into personal time during the busy periods, these nights allow me to awaken the dormant creative side of my skull and pick up the pencil which stays cold the rest of the week.

Every week it seems, Sam is bringing something to the table which impresses me.
